The breakfast exceeded our expectations with fresh fruits and variety, and the helpful staff made sure we felt comfortable during our stay despite the area being a bit shady.

The hotel is well-located, providing easy access to Downtown Rio and public transit options. The staff is helpful, and the building, though old, adds to the character of the city. Breakfast offers a variety of fruits, cakes, and breads, contributing positively to the stay. Clean towels, hot water, and air conditioning were advantageous, making the environment comfortable for business travelers.
The building and rooms are outdated.

We loved visiting the local markets nearby, where our relatives found some great BBQ. The staff were genuinely nice and went out of their way to help us. Plus, breakfast was more than satisfying for our family’s appetite.
For dads, it would be great to have more kid-friendly activities.

This was just an ideal choice for a momentary visit in Rio de Janeiro with best value. The staff were really pleasant, which made check-in smooth. Keep in mind that noise from nearby streets might be an issue at night.

The experience here was quite favorable, especially due to the accommodating staff, notably Bruno at the front desk. Access to local cuisine was fantastic, with plenty of barbecue options just outside the hotel. The layout of the area provided easy access to key transportation and nightlife spots, but noise levels were a challenge, particularly on weekends. Additionally, while the breakfast was decent, the absence of options for light snacks during the day left something to be desired.

Budget travelers, this is for you!
I gotta say, the breakfast was really good with fruits, cakes, breads, and grains! ! Plus, the staff were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay, it made all the difference.
It wasn’t exactly cheap, but for what you got, it was still acceptable.

The location is convenient, close to shopping and nightlife. The staff were generally helpful and made check-in smooth. However, the room was outdated and the air conditioning was noisy, which made it somewhat difficult to sleep. Good for a short stay if you appreciate easy access to the city.

Oh man, the breakfast here was a total knockout! Fresh fruits, yummy cakes, and tantalizing breads left me craving for more. Plus, the location is prime for exploring—with awesome eateries like Toca Da Codorna just a hop away and some cool spots like Villa Toscana Centro nearby for pasta lovers. I loved it!
However, I did feel like I was sleeping on a relic from the past. the bed was hard as a rock and the antique furniture whispered ‘old times. ’ The bathroom? Let’s just say it had a personality of its own with its quirky flush situation and uncooperative air conditioning.

wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
Stayed 2 nights in a standard twin room. The room was big with air conditioning, shower, and a TV. The bathroom had body soap, conditioner, and shampoo. There’s also a minibar, desk, toilet, and towels. Great for a solo traveler and convenient to check out local spots.
